Creative Direction – Science of Connection. Givaudan Active Beauty
Overview:
Developed for Givaudan Active Beauty’s annual theme, The Science of Connection, this immersive visual universe explores the invisible dialogue between science, emotion and human experience. Rooted in the belief that connection exists within every living system from skin to mind to being, the project translates scientific innovation into a sensory and emotionally engaging experience.
Inspired by Givaudan’s philosophy Human by Nature, the concept was designed to express how beauty begins from within: through connection, energy and meaningful interactions.
Creative direction:
The art direction was conceived as a balance between biotech precision and human sensitivity. Inspired by the visual language of science and the emotional dimension of beauty, the creative proposition transformed the annual theme into a complete spatial and visual experience.
Colour, scale, typography and graphic composition were carefully developed to create rhythm, movement and interaction throughout the environment. Every visual element was designed to evoke curiosity and invite discovery, turning the space into an immersive journey where science meets emotion and every encounter becomes an opportunity for connection.
My role:
I led the end-to-end creative vision and execution of the project, defining the overall art direction and developing the creative concept for the annual theme.
From the initial visual proposition to final implementation, I designed and executed the complete visual ecosystem, including large-scale visual, colour strategy for the space, graphic systems, titles, logo applications, wall adaptations and all supporting creative assets.
Every detail was conceptualized and developed to ensure a cohesive, immersive and emotionally resonant brand experience.
